More hockey fun!

my hockey season is in full swing and my skills continue to improve.  Check back next week for me in action with my new hockey stick Mommy bought me after practice last night.  I picked a super cool stick and it has #8 Ovechkin on it...he is a super star on the ice.  He plays for the Washington Capitals for those that do not follow the NHL!!

Let it snow. let it snow...

LET IT SNOW!!!!!  So, me, Mommy and Daddy were at the driving range earlier and noticed it was getting painfully cold but before we could even finish our buckets of balls the sky began to fall.:-)  The snow was truly coming down so fast we could not even see and the flakes were like big cotton balls!  Check it out, all my friends were out playing and tomorrow the plan is to do a little tubing and sledding.  We are excited to report it is still snowing 2 1/2 hours later and supposed to stay below freezing until around noon tomorrow and keep snowing on and off until around midnight!!!!

Yesterday me, Daddy, Mommy, Emily, John, Joel and Maggie went to the Checkers game yesterday...we had so much fun!  Not only did the Checkers win but after the game I got to skate with the players and a few of them signed my jersey!!  Another highlight was me getting picked to do the chicken dance with the "ice girls"...I was on the jumbotron!!!!

I learned a few things at the tournament a few weeks ago!

Hockey is back in session...the last one is a video and we are practicing stopping(I am red helmet #4 in the middle)

so i have resumed hockey at the Extreme Ice Center and have moved up to the "Mites"...I play Wednesdays and Fridays.  Sorry there have been no pics...you know Mommy has tried.  Now that I have moved up with the big kids it is a bit more serious...no "hockey moms" in the penalty box taking pictures and videos, I have to dress in the locker room and alot less silly time on the ice!  I am holding my own playing with 7-10 year olds and having alot of fun...will try to get more ice-time pics to share!
