Now my Nana is here............

How lucky am i...my Poppy was here for 2 weeks and only one day after he headed back to Tennessee my Nana rolled in. We have had a fun time despite having to play around school hours and all the rainy weather! Nana is a good pitcher and since Poppy left I am a good hitter.:)

Welcome Fall!!

What better way to embrace AUTUMN than to go apple picking and play in the pumpkin patch. Me and Mommy took Poppy to the infamous Silverman's Farm for a fun afternoon. He had a good time and enjoyed the apple doughnut as much as me.:) Let's hope Mommy whips up some goodies with all the apples sooner rather than later!!

This past Saturday we all enjoyed a beautiful day and a really fun football game. Yale was victorious and given how much Poppy loves college football he really enjoyed the game!

Mommy and Poppy picked me up a small hockey net with sticks too and we have been outside enjoying the nice weather almost constantly!!

School is back in session!

So I started back to school yesterday and I am proud to say it was a great day! I will be going 5 days a week from 9-12:30 and will enjoy lunch with my friends. I am now in what Montessori schools call the "primary" class which has 3, 4 and 5 years olds alike in the same classroom. I am looking forward to a fun year and wish everyone the best of luck for a great school-year!!

Summer vacation part 2...

so the fun continued as we did some shopping, spent more time at the beach and enjoyed the "big red jeep" another day. Me and Mommy got to go for a paddle-boat ride though Mommy was a bit reluctant as she did all the work.:-) Mommy & Daddy were so impressed with me swimming independently in my spider-man life-jacket and I especially loved swimming in the "warm water pool"(hot-tub). Check out my new friends that made the trip back..."Wormy & Lollipop" are crazy critters and have a new friend from a local pet store since joining our family in Connecticut. Pics of my batman crab to follow. Anyway, I digress...the OBX were awesome and we plan to return next year. Mommy ended the slideshow with pictures of the evacuation. The line of traffic to get off the island was really stressful(we went 9.8 miles in 4 hours)but nonetheless, a great vacation was had by all.

SUMMER VACATION 2010....(Part 1)

We just returned from the Outer banks in NC...yes, we were evacuated and our vaca was cut a bit short. Anyway, we had such a good time it was not the end of the world to leave early. We were busy, busy each and every day. We enjoyed our beach home to the fullest...it had an in-ground pool, hot-tub, sand volleyball and enough bedrooms/bathrooms for 5 families. Luey & KoKo loved the house but especially the big window upstairs.
We spent alot of time at the beach where we played in the big waves(thanks hurricane Danielle), built sand castles(bat caves) and got to fly my special kite that came from the famous "Kitty Hawk Kites". We also traded in the outback for a "Butiful" red Jeep which we got to drive on the beach for 2 days. We played a round of miniature golf where I was apparently a crazy man and I loved the race cars with Daddy.
