Daffodil Festival

Mommy, Daddy and I enjoyed the annual Daffodil Festival in Meriden, CT on Saturday. There were big ponds, live music and lots of daffodils (supposedly 600,000). Apparently I am too little for the amusement rides but maybe someday. As you can see, Mommy had her camera and I got up close and personal with at least 300,000 of the 600,00 daffodils. I did attempt to make the most of sitting around while Mommy took pictures. I had a little tatse of grass and dirt and gave every effort to pull a flower out of the ground. :)

I am loving the boat rides

I am so very excited that my friend Charlotte has a boat. We have been invited to have big fun this summer.

BEACH BUMS

Yesterday Mommy and I met our playgroup at Compo Beach in Westport. The weather was beautiful, we had a super time. Everybody played, had lunch and played again.

A busy week

Mommy and I have been extremely busy this week but it has all been fun. Wednesday we hosted a playdate at our house, I am pretty sure everyone thinks I have the coolest toys. Today Mommy and I took 3 walks with Luey & KoKo and ran errands in between. I hope the weather has been nice everywhere! I am so excited about tomorrow, our playgroup is meeting at the beach. Not sure what a beach is but Mommy seems jazzed about it. Check back for the pics from that event.
P.S. For those interested, Mommy thinks the very last picture shows all 5 of my teeth.

9 months old today

S0, apparently Mommy is pressed for time and is going to make this update short. I had my 9 month checkup yesterday and I weighed in at 19 lbs 15oz, and my height is 29 inches. Here are a few things I would think are worth mentioning:

I wave Hi and Bye (most of the time)

I have yet to master a true crawl but I can roll across a room in no time flat and I scoot on my belly to get what I want.

I do a fantastic "fish mouth kiss" thing if you ask for a kiss

I am a pretty picky eater but Mommy continues to offer a variety of things. I really enjoy Yo Baby yogurt, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, apples, bananas, avocado, barley teething biscuits and Gerber puffs. Mommy and Daddy are very impressed with my pincer grasp, I had it mastered in one night.

I am still enjoying my swim lessons, this past Sunday we under water and I loved it. My music class started back up last Wednesday, it is really my favorite class.

Well, that is about it for now. Mommy promises to do a better job with info for my 10 month update.

P.S. I have a total of 5 teeth now

A new lady in my life

I am very excited to welcome Katelyn Nicole Neill to the world. Aunt Laura and Uncle Joseph had a baby girl in TN yesterday and I can't wait to meet her. We are wishing all 3 of them the very best.

A new way to amuse people

Today we enjoyed a 2 mile walk around town after library class and later we played outside. Mommy was really pushy about me showing off my kissing trick, therefore I was relectant to do so.

A cause for celebration!!!!!!!!!

So, today marks the end of the "legal" process. Mommy, Daddy and I went to court this morning (in CT) and finalized my adoption. The judge was such a nice guy, he even gave me a gift. The stuffed puppy you see in the photos is my gift and we named him Skip after the judge. Afterwards we all enjoyed a celebratory lunch on the water at Rowayton Seafood.
P.S. I waved bye-bye to the judge, Mommy & Daddy were so very excited about this. :)

Mommy and I had a great time yesterday at Mia's house. We were excited to visit with so many friends.
