Gym class has resumed...

I do love my gym class and certainly missed it during the Holiday break. Me, Aidan and Emma have a great time together every Monday.

Look what I can do

I am so proud of myself for having the ability to help myself into the freezer. Nobody else seems amused but oh well. I am guessing there is a toddler-proof contraption on Daddy's to-do list. In case you are wondering, yes, the waffle is completely frozen. :)

18 month follow up...

Just a f/u to the 18 month info. I weighed 25 lbs. 11 oz and I am 32 3/4 inches tall. I did have to get 2 shots which I am simply not a fan of but I did survive. These are just some random pics Mommy wanted to share, I am all about this fire in the living room thing!

18 Months Old today...

A few words about what is going on with me:

I no longer drink from a bottle, I am all about the cup now. This was a bit of a stresser for Mommy, I was pretty strong willed regarding only drinking my milk from a bottle for the last few months.

I use a spoon pretty well and continue to work on my fork skills, as well as scooping. I am not a big eater, this too stresses Mommy. I do enjoy breakfast but could care less about eating almost anything for the rest of the day. I am very into "dip-dip" so if you want me to eat something let me dip it in something. I am not picky, I will dip apples into caramel or sour cream and veggie sticks into cool whip or french onion dip.

I have become very sensitive to noises such as a mixer, vacuum etc... Simply not a fan!

I love to scribble, color etc... I am really enjoying my new easel, especially the chalkboard side. I am discouraged from eating the chalk but refuse to listen.

I read myself books alot, sometimes even upside down. I insist on turning the pages myself if I allow you to read the words.

I run very well and climb on anything and everything. "Chandler, sit on your hiney!" is a common statement these days.

I have a very sweet disposition so Mommy says. I do love to snuggle, give hugs and kisses to Mommy, Daddy, Luey, Koko and my close friends.

As for sleep, I sleep all night from about 8PM-7AM and I nap from around 12:30 until 2:30 or 3. This is pretty much the norm every day.

I love to follow simple directions such as, throwing things in the garbage, cleaning up toys etc... Oh, apparently I am a good sharer. Mommy seems pretty proud of this but knows "her day is coming", whatever that means. :)

One thing I am so not into is being told NO or not to do something. I would rather do what I want to do!!! Sometimes I do get upset and sometimes I immediately sit down in the floor and politely protest. No full blown tantrums yet but I am edging towards it. :):):):)

I am still going strong with gym and music class, as well as my swimming lessons too. We had a break at the Holidays but I am so glad all classes have resumed.

Mommy may have left out a few things but I am trying to push buttons and wanting her attention so she may add it later. I have my 18 month appointment with the pediatrician Monday so we will update with weight and height then. One note about the very last picture; the grin on my face is b/c someone has left the remote vulnerable and I am taking advantage.

Playing with Poppy in TN

It was so great to be able to play outside without a hat and only a lightweight jacket. Poppy had a great idea to play ball!

Christmas at Nana's house

Tuesday evening we gathered for more holiday fun. I had a great playmate, my cousin Iona is just 10 days older than me. Katelyn has just started crawling but she was pretty eager to catch up with us; I reassured her she will be running soon.

More Christmas fun (part II)

Monday night was so much fun at Gigi & Poppy's house. Me, Bailey, Jordan, Cara, Logan and Devin played and played, ate a bit, opened presents, and played more. Mommy & Daddy wanted me to send out a special thank you to Gigi & Poppy for their gracious hospitality to us all, even Luey and KoKo send hugs and kisses!!

Highlights from my visit to TN (part I)

Well, we safely returned to CT an hour or so ago and the blog had to be a priority. Mommy is usually much better with keeping my activities up to date but our time in TN came with a few unplanned challenges. Me and Luey had to go to the doctor (not the same one) for our first ear infections and KoKo simply struggled to breathe all week long. My ear pain combined with the high fever pretty much brought the visiting and care free play to a screeching hault, hence the blog not being a priority. Anyway, I did have a great time and will start with pictures from last Sunday. We celebrated Christmas with DiDi & Grandaddy, check out their new puppies, Emma and Archie.
Happy New Year to Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
