A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS...2013

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas...I know we sure did at the Neill house!

Today was a fun day hanging out with Mommy, Daddy, Luey and KoKo!  We made cookies and reindeer food, had some really yummy eats and rode around looking at Christmas lights in Christmas Town USA!!  Check me out tossing the reindeer food on the lawn to light the way for Santa's sleigh....

we have enjoyed the past week with lots of fun activities at my school(the best one may have been a noon dismissal Friday and learning I am off for 17 days:-)   anyway, Didi and Grandaddy have been here too!!  I was happy they were here to enjoy Christmas Chapel at my school as well as DiDi helped Mommy with our Kindergarten Christmas party.  Last night we opened presents and had the best time hanging around the house.

THE POLAR EXPRESS!!!  So, last weekend we headed out to Bryson City, NC for a really fun overnight adventure...and my friend Madison joined me too!!!!  I'm not sure if you have seen the movie but I highly recommend you watching The Polar Express and even the train ride if your close enough.

A blessed Thanksgiving!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and break around here.  GiGi and Poppy made it here from Tennessee(bad weather was a possibility) and we had a great visit and really fun time hanging out.  We went out to eat this year but it gave Mommy and Daddy a break and was still a really nice meal.

I should start way back but I am so excited about Christmas I want to start with current things happening!  I promise to post very often and catch everyone up!

Appalachian State vs. UTC

Last Saturday we went to Boone to see the Chattanooga Mocs take on Appalachian State...what an awesome game!  UTC won!  A huge surprise was Gigi and Poppy being there too...YAY!  I got to meet #11 Gunner Miller, he is a big dude!  

HAPPY HALLOWEEN...a bit late

Super fun day and night as I dressed up like a Zombie in the daytime and then the "grim something" for the night time.  I was excited to dress up Luey & KoKo...AAARRRGHHHH!
Me and my sweet new neighbor Kayla headed out around 6 and then she was a bit tired by 7 so I met up with a bunch of my friends from school and away we went until around 8 o'clock!  

My last Fall soccer game for 2013...IT WAS COLD!

Saturday was bittersweet, we won our game which was awesome but sad it was our last game.  I did score 2 goals which was pretty great!:-)

An awesome Fall festival at my school!!

This past weekend we had a super fun time at my schools Fall Festival...they had bounce houses, a Velcro fly wall(see video), parachute races(I won every-time :), lots of snacks and a super big pumpkin patch.  So many of my friends were there and Nana got to go as she was visiting from Tennessee!!

So the soccer fun continues and this past week we played 2 games against a really good team...we ended both games 2-2!  I played goalie most of my playing time the 1st game but got to play midfield in the 2nd game and scored a goal...woohoo!

Palisades Halloween Festival 2013!

Super fun time of year for so many reasons!!  I am having a blast with soccer but so excited about all the "Fall Fun".  This weekend Gigi and Poppy were here and joined us for our 1st time at the local Halloween festival in our neighborhood.  I did spend the majority of the time in the bounce house but did take time to decorate a pumpkin, hang with my friends and WIN the sack race twice...check out the video:-).

so how cool is it I get to play goalie....I love the special jersey and my gloves are awesome!  I only got to play one quarter as this is new to everyone and we rotate but I love it!!  I do love to score too so I am happy to change positions.

I have learned some new moves in my sparring classes on Friday nights and am getting better with several of the kicks and my quickness.  In the first video you can find me in the middle(back) with the little guy wearing the red chest protector.

Finally my 1st soccer game of Fall 2013!

So, the rain held off and we had alot of fun...with that being said, the opposing team did indeed beat us 5 to NOTHING!  Our team did a great job working together on passing the ball and getting used to having actual positions but at the end of the day we were simply outplayed.  I had alot of fun and played hard...looking forward to our next game Tuesday night!

Much to my Mom's dismay it is still 90 degrees around here...I am good with that as we are still going to the pool after school and getting plenty of time to play with the neighborhood kids!

Labor day weekend fun!

I hope everyone enjoyed the 3-day weekend as much as we did!  We were blessed to have many friends join us at our community pool a few times over the weekend, me and Daddy went fishing and we had a football party at our house.  Unfortunately my DAWGS did not get the win but I am definitely looking forward to this weekend when they beat the Gamecocks!  I am going to post a couple of slideshows on this post...enjoy and Happy September.

Fall soccer starts this week!

so tonight was my first practice and it was awesome!  I am excited as I have moved up to U8 and we will now play with 6 on 6 plus a goalie!!  

backtracking for a couple of posts!!

so as you know this Summer I was on the Palisades swim team and had a blast!  I shaved 30.74 seconds of my 25 freestyle from the May 31st time trial to the championship meet that was held on June 29th!  Here are the pics from the championship meet...I was the only 5 year old boy to be invited to compete and 1 of only 2 from my team of 6 and under boys!  I had my personal best at this meet.

Orientation day finally got here...

So today i got to go to my new school, check out my classroom and meet my new teachers.  I loved it and did not want to leave!  I am excited about everything...especially that I get to sit by my friend Belle.  Me and Belle became fast friends this Summer on the swim team.  Check back Monday, you know Mom will have the camera every step of the way for my first big day of KINDERGARTEN!

I was lucky enough to spend lots of time with Uncle Joseph and Katelyn...we played lacrosse(with my new awesome stick), went swimming, hung out at Nana's and the pool.  Check out the clever way Joseph and Poppy threw me up in the water!  It was good to see Nana as she had some foot surgery this Summer and did not make her usual visit to our house.

so as many of your know I already had my party(a couple weeks early as a Summer birthday is tough with vacations etc...) anyway, today I will have a few hours of golf camp then off to play all day.  My Dad took the day off which is exciting and my good friend Tyler is spending the day with us!  Pictures to follow as I am not sure if we will go to the pool, Carowinds Amusement park or what??  For now Mommy has put together a little walk down memory lane....
