lovin' the new pool!

Swimming pools for Summer of 2010....

...take 1, 2 and 3!!!! For those that follow closely you know we started off Memorial Day weekend with a new double-decker super fun swimming pool. I had alot of fun in it but it proved to be a bit of work cleaning it, moving it, filling it... so we moved on. Daddy decided to go ahead and get a pool big enough for all of us and one that was maintained by a filter, chemicals etc... Well, that was FANTASTIC for about a week and it collapsed a couple times. Needless to say Daddy was irritated with how much more involved this one was what with the 1500 gallons of water it held and had to be refilled 3 times in 8 days. Now for the grand finale...Daddy went even bigger and this one is very sturdy. It took a bit of work with leveling the yard, assembly and filling it with 2200 gallons of water but it is AWESOME!!!!!

A car wash get together with friends

Ella had us over the other day to play. Everyone was asked to bring their favorite ride. Ella's Mommy set up cones and buckets for all of us to pull up for a "car wash". We had alot of fun and all the rides needed a wash as it rained earlier. Note that I am in long-sleeves and it was about 85 degrees and soooo humid. Mommy and me had disagreed all day regarding me wearing my Batman shirt but she finally gave up let it go. I WAS MISERABLE!!!!!

Chandler was able to sneak my small camera, take pics and even nap with it???? I think he did a pretty good job.:)

Father's Day part 2...

What a great day we had! We treated Daddy to a really great brunch at a place called "Splash" in Westport...he just kept going back for the yummy oysters and sushi, but i myself decided on a fresh-made Belgian waffle and fruit. Okay, so I may have had a piece of carrot cake too.:) We had a great surprise there too, The Seymour Family had the same idea for Father's Day and you know I was super excited to see Charlotte!!! Anyway, after that we all were pleasantly surprised that the sky remained blues and the sun was bright. We played in our new pool and had so much fun.

While it is early and many pics will be taken today I wanted to go ahead and make a post. I have some wonderful men in my life and want them to know how special they are!! Happy Father's Day to my Daddy, Uncle Joseph, Poppy and Grandaddy!!!

Me and Mommy were excited to have some fun in the sun the other day. Lake Mohegan has reopened for the Summer and we packed up lunch and our sand toys and headed on over. I had alot of fun meeting up with Olivia, Caroline and Alexandria. The water was a bit cold but you just have to dive right in.:)

Graduation celebration at Six Flags New England!

So Friday was obviously a big day as you could see in the previous post but mommy & Daddy took it to the next level after my ceremony. We all got in the car and headed to Massachusetts...SIX FLAGS!!!!! It was a perfect day, a bit cloudy and around 72 degrees. I napped on the way which I am pretty sure was their plan and we had a terrific day. For those that are curious, there is plenty to do for "kiddies" at the park...we were there for 5 hours and did not even see some of the adult rides until we took a wrong turn leaving. A great time was had by all! For those that may have noticed me upset on the antique cars you bet I was!! I wanted to drive and that was clearly not happening. That was the only snafu, I was good the rest of the day...I promise.:)

Graduation ceremony

Well, the 1st year of school has officially come to an end and today I walked across the bridge to symbolize me entering my next journey. I was very into wearing the gown as I creatively called it my "batman cape" but the hat well, not so much.:) Mommy & Daddy were very proud of my cooperation and listening skills throughout the ceremony.

Last day of school....

Wow, can you believe I have completed my 1st year of school.?.? I have had a lot of fun in my 2's program. I have learned many new things and Mommy thinks I have grown in so many ways. Here are a few comparison photos from my 1st and last day at New England School of Montessori(2's program). I do look forward to seeing everyone at graduation Friday...Mommy is so excited to see me in my cap and gown.

Memorial Day weekend was a blast!!!

We certainly had a busy weekend but man was it super fun! I got a new swimming pool and it is full of activities...it has a sprinkler, rings, balls and notice it is a double-decker pool. I have been having some napping issues since the transition to my race-car bed occurred so I was pretty much in my pool or "helping" Daddy for 2 days straight. Another thing going on at my house is Daddy is building a shed. Mommy calls it "Chandler's house of toys"! We will show you an update soon as "we" only have until mid June to finish up the shed...the painters are coming. Mommy did help Daddy a bit but mostly she was glad to sit poolside.:)
