Daffodil Festivals 2010, 2009 and 2008...

Me, Mommy and Daddy attended the annual Daffodil Festival in Meridan, Ct this past weekend. Unfortunately Mother Nature played some tricks on the flowers this year and...well, there were only about 200 out of the normal 10,000+ we have enjoyed the past 2 years. We all still managed to have a great time though Mommy was EXTREMELY disappointed at the lack of photo opportunities.:) Mommy wanted to do a little comparison and show everyone just how big I have gotten.

In honor of Earth Day me and Mommy planted flowers and cleaned up the yard.

Wrapping up the trip to Tennessee

Closing out the entries from our trip to Tennessee are some random pics taken throughout the week. We enjoyed a really cool playground with Gigi and Poppy, LOVED looking and sitting on Uncle Joseph's motorcycle and just spending time with all my family. I miss them all and can't wait to see them this Summer!

Another fun day in Tennessee...

Monday morning me, Mommy, Daddy, Poppy and Gigi headed downtown to the Tennessee Aquarium. For those unfamiliar with how great this aquarium is, it is the highest rated aquarium in the USA!!! Anyway, for me it was so much fun and so much to see and do. With over 10,000 animals inside I can't go over all that we saw but it was jam packed. After we finished inside there was a bonus outside...I got to jump rocks and play in the water. Gigi and Poppy were happy to hang around for quite some time and let me play in the warm sunshine.

A return to Coolidge Park...

For those that have been following for years you may recognize this park and carousel...I celebrated my 1st birthday here. Anyway, we spent the day with Didi and Grandaddy walking the streets of downtown Chattanooga, running circles through the park and took a few rides on the carousel. We had a fantastic lunch at the River Street Deli and filled up a couple bags with yummy candies at the "Candyland Shop". Didi and Grandaddy were a lot of fun and were so excited to hear just how much I had to say. Later in the day my Great Aunt Robin came over with with her daughter Sara(my 2nd cousin) and her daughter Marley. We had alot of fun running around in the sunshine and playing in the birdbath.:)

Birthday celebrations!!!

Well, we have to start somewhere with the Tennessee blog entries so we decided to start with the birthday girl!!! My cousin Katelyn turned 2 while we were home and we were fortunate enough to spend the day with her and go to her Spongebob Squarepants party. I was not very familiar with him or his friendly characters but Katelyn brought me up to speed. Check out her cool playhouse she got for her birthday. We have 2 slideshows for this entry...during the day we enjoyed the Creative Discovery Museum and the Tennessee Riverpark. Chattanooga is such a beautiful city and it was so much fun to spend the day with Nana and Katelyn.

A cool way to sleep!!!

So, we just returned from a mini vacation in Tennessee and man was it fun. Mommy took 600+ pictures(anyone surprised) and has alot of sorting to do before entries can start showing up. Here is a start...I am too long(tall) to sleep in a pack-N-play now so we had to figure something else out. For those in need of a "plan B" while traveling we recommend the peapod bed. I did not even realize the first day or two I could get out.:):) Surprisingly for Mommy and Daddy I loved the bed so much I stayed in all but one naptime.:) Momy & Daddy were a bit worried as I am still in a crib at home but I surprised them yet again with what a big boy I am!!!

Fun at the park...

I finally made a connection with my friend Aidan...we each have busy schedules and it has been far too long. We enjoyed the sunshine and mild temps at the park and even kept each other company over a grilled cheese and fries for lunch.

What a "GOOD" Friday

I had a great time this past Friday at Scarlett's house! So many of my friends were able to join in on the fun and we had such a great time! Thanks to Scarlett and her Mommy for hosting such a fun playgroup.

Happy Easter (part2)

I enjoyed the best Easter yet! We had beautiful weather, great friends, lots of egg hunts and yummy food. Portia spent the better part of the day at my house and we played ourselves silly. Mommy spent the better part of her day in the kitchen but everyone appreciated just how delicious the Easter Dinner was.

Easter (part 1)

Me, Mommy and Daddy had a great time coloring eggs and making "Easter" rice crispy treats yesterday. I did not break one single egg this year which was apparently much different than last year.:) As you can see, THE EASTER BUNNY made a visit to my house...that is one cool bunny and he knows just what I like. I am super excited about my 1st piece of luggage he brought me. I am so excited because it is just in time for me to fly on my 1st airplane ride to Tennessee next Saturday. Check out Luey & KoKo, one could learn a thing or two from those two...they can get their prizes out of their eggs soooo fast!
