Today was such a magical day...Santa clearly thought I was a good boy and was very good to me. I got so many fantastic "prizes"!! We had such a great morning opening everything, having breakfast and then playing in the snow. Me, Mommy, Daddy, Luey and Koko are so very blessed. Luey and Koko had alot of fun opening their treats in their stockings and playing in the snow. Check out my new sled in action...how great is it that we had so much leftover snow to give it a test drive. I also greatly enjoyed my first snowball fight though Mommy and Daddy seemed to really enjoy that part. I hope everyone had as fantastic a day as me.
We were all very excited to wind down the day with Portia and her family for some more fun and a wonderful Christmas dinner. Me and Portia played with all her fun things Santa left for her...she was a very good kiddo this year too. Thanks Lisanti Family!

A Christmas Eve to remember...
So today was awesome...we headed into New York City this morning via the train (which made my morning). We enjoyed the "Christmas Spectacular" featuring the famous Radio City Rockettes...I sat very nicely and was so excited about the show. After the show we rounded the corner and there it was, "the big tree". I had alot of fun on my 1st two taxi rides too.:)
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!

A gathering amongst friends...
This past Sunday we joined the Bomback Family at a Holiday gathering at the Seymour's house. It was a little questionable whether or not old man winter had haulted our plans but luckily that did not happen. Me, Charlotte and Mia ran around like crazy, I even lost my pants at one point.:) We had so much fun playing, eating, opening presents and just being with friends. PS, check out how cute baby Jonah is(Mia's little brother), he is getting bigger and bigger right before my eyes.
Hugs and kisses to Char-Char's Mommy and Daddy for hosting...not only was the tree up and beautiful, the food so yummy but her Daddy had to do alot of shoveling before we arrived.

Lunch with Daddy...
...and fun at the mall. I was especially excited about the man playing the paino at Santa's village. In the video I am singing along with him, but I did get very quiet once Mommy started recording.:) The last few pics are of me unwrapping some "prizings" that were waiting by the door when we got home. Thank you Andrea, Luke and Baby Myers(due 1/3/2010). I love the gifts!!!

December is such a fun month!
What fun today was...we had our annual "playgroup Holiday Party" at Playtime Village. We all arrived dressed very festive and ready to play. Thanks to all the Mommy's for providing so many yummy snacks and beverages, they provided our little bodies with lots of energy to play all morning.

A Christmas Tree Festival
Today was alot of fun...Mommy had to do some work at the festival but was able to hang with me and Daddy for a bit. I got to see "Sanma cause" again as well as some carolers and lots of Christmas trees. Personally I loved the singing the best!! Later in the evening I was very excited to put on my "Sanma cause" pajamas after my bath.

A new type of swim lesson...
...well, Mommy, Daddy and me are all pretty bored with the routine at the YMCA so we have decided to branch out. I had my first private lesson Thursday evening and it went very well. Mommy was a bit concerned as I had to 1st be willing to go in the water with a perfect stranger, not a problem. I loved the goggles, my instructor as well as the challenge of being more independent. John (the instructor) did say I was "fearless and advanced" at one point...I know Mommy was proud.:) Now, let's learn to really swim. If anyone is interested, I am attending the Penguin School.

Trains, trains and more trains!!!
Can you believe how many trains I have??? Didi and Grandaddy sent me an early Christmas present...check out the train running on the tree! How cool is this!!! Also Mommy and Daddy bought me a train that runs around the tree on the floor and it is remote control. We are definitely getting ready for Christmas over here, Luey and KoKo included(whether they choose to or not). Mommy is happy to say both trees are up, stockings are hung and the outside is complete minus one wreath. YAY!!!!!

Thankful for friends...
I told Mommy to let it go but she is feeling guilty for not taking pics on Thanksgiving. Anyway, she did capture some moments at a playdate we had at our house on Wednesday. I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends...Charlotte and Olivia came to play. As you will see in the pics, I am very curious about Olivia's baby brother Nate(koko is too:). The Mommy's had a good time too!

LEGO Kidsfest
So we really had nothing going on this weekend and decided to check out the LEGO convention. What fun it was but man were there alot of people there. Mommy and Daddy (along w/many other parents) kept commenting on just how crowded it was. We had no idea the following LEGO has. People were there from NY, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey and of course CT. Anyway, I digress...I was amazed at the life-size models, especially Batman. I loved playing the games and as you can see my skills at the beanbag toss were fantastic!!

"A Day Out With Thomas 2009"
That's right, I spent the day with Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt. We headed north to the Essex Steam Train and I could not believe my eyes when I saw Thomas blowing steam on the tracks! On top of all the fun with Thomas and friends there were carnie rides, model trains and train tables, gift shops and even a big Thomas made of legos. Needless to say, the event was a big hit.:)

Last night we attended the annual Harvest Festival at my school. What a fun time...lots of food, activities and socializing. Check out my airplane...facepainting was pretty cool!

"THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH"
Thats right, we went to the circus this past sunday...it was awesome! For starters I absolutlely love "Dumbo" and could not believe my eyes when soooo many appeared so many times. Another big hit with me was all the motorcycles. I am so into seeing motorcycles drive by in the car, buying "matchbox" motorcycles etc... a little funny is that I can't say the word motorcycle but I call them "ashanti". It took Mommy 2 days to figure that one out. Anyway, I loved the entire show and look forward to going again.

Trick or Treat...
What fun this Halloween stuff is! Me, Portia and the Mommy and Daddys walked all around the neighborhood tonight. Mommy was so impressed with my manners...I said "trick or treat" and "thank you" at every house and loved holding up my goody bucket. Luey and KoKo dressed up and even went out for a bit, check them out.:) Mommy insisted on a little comparison from last year, bare with her as she reminisces for a moment. PS, I know the video is dark but Mommy thought it was so cute as we just had soooo much fun!

A Halloween bash...
Tonight was such a good time! We all got dressed up and headed to a big party. Portia was hangin' with us tonight so she put on her beautiful cinderella costume and off we went. Check out Mommy too.:) I was so excited to see Mia as Abby Cadabby, Aidan K, as a firefighter, Olivia the bumble bee and Hayley as a butterfly. So many kids and so many Mommy and Daddys were all dressed up. Ella was a very cute lady bug and I am so thankful to her and her Mommy and Daddy for such a fun time.

a clown, a devil and a pirate...
Not to give away everybody's costume but Mommy is very amused with how "into" the costume I have been all week. I think I will stick with the pirate as I finally have a really great "argh" going on.

I have really missed Char-Char!!!
I know school is important but it has really put a damper on my leisure playtime with friends!! I can't tell you how happy I was to play with Charlotte this week.
Actually by the time Mommy got this posted I have been lucky enough to see Char-Char again...we had a blast at the pumpkin patch and afterwards she came to my house for lunch and play.

Nana Visits
I have had so much fun with my Nana! She has played with me, read books, watched Curious George and built train tracks with me for days. I was so excited to show her my school too. Sadly she had to leave today but I head Mommy already planning our trip to TN in December so I will only miss her for a bit. :) We were excited to celebrate Daddy's birthday while she was here...an added bonus for her.

sick days...
Me and Mommy have been stuck in the house for a couple days as we have both not felt the best. Art projects have helped pass the time, check out my "Fall" finished projects. We have also had alot of fun building many different versions of train tracks. PS, if you are wondering why I have my protective eyewear on during the art projects, well, so is Mommy. It was just what I wanted to do.:)

Kids....don't try this at home!
Well, adults either for that matter. Just for the record Mommy and me argued about this being a terrible idea for close to 2 hours.
I was fine by the way, actually laughed and made every attempt to do it again...Mommy won that battle and I moved on to something else.

"Punkin, punkins" everywhere......
So how much fun does this look like.........me and Portia had such a fantastic time running through the pumpkin patch, picking out a few, talking to the animals and going on a hayride. The Mommy's were pretty into all the fun too and really got a little crazy with the 'attention to detail' when choosing their pumpkins. If anyone is interested, me and Portia highly recommend Pumpkin Seed Hill in Shelton, CT.

Dartmouth/foliage (part 2)
As promised, this was a day mostly spent at Dartmouth but also in Norwich, Vt and other surrounding areas. Most of the "scenic" pics in the beginning were taken at a place known as "Vermont's Little Grand Canyon". It is known as one of New England's most popular natural wonders. Daddy was excited to show me my future college career where I will be the class of 2029. We were so glad to see the sunshine. We had a great day running around campus and had a really tasty lunch at Molly's, one of Daddy's favorite places. I know there are alot of pics as Mommy was really excited to practice many shots with her newly learned techniques. Bare with her for it was such a beautiful day, fantastic time of year, and awesome place to take soooo many shots!

A weekend in Vermont and New Hampshire (Part 1)
This weekend was a blast! We spent Mommy's birthday(Saturday) in Vermont. Unfortunately it rained and rained and rained but alas, we found a Toy and Train Museum in Quechee Gorge Village which was so much fun. We were able to take a little train ride around the village as well as play with all the buttons and trains inside. Mommy found the wine tasting area and enjoyed a few sips of some local wines. Daddy had booked us in Hotel Coolidge which was just across the street from the train station, that was very cool! Sunday the sun came out and we headed to Dartmouth, those pics to follow.

Canine celebrations...
So, yesterday KoKo celebrated her 6th bday and Tiki her 1st. We had so much fun, Portia and I had yummy cupcakes while Luey, KoKo and Tiki had Frosty Paws icecream for dogs. Portia's Mommy & Daddy and Mommy seemed to just enjoy coffee as it was really chilly out.

I am in the groove and am happy to tell Mommy bye-bye right away now. It took a week but I have now realized 2 things, I have a great time AND Mommy always returns after a few short hours.:):)
Mommy joined in some classroom fun this week, we made homemade applesauce. As usual she had her camera so here are some fun shots.

Fall fun continues
Me, Mommy and Daddy had a lot of fun at Silverman's Farm today. I enjoyed the pumpkin patch(as did Mommy, she said it makes for great photos) and we all enjoyed the tractor ride through the orchards. We had so many different of types apples to choose from so we just picked some of each. I think Mommy said she will be in the kitchen for days making applesauce and apple bread for friends and neighbors.

Fall is in the air...
As you can see it has been a little chilly here for a few days. I am still happy to play outside, we just have to dress a bit warmer.

An Apple Festival...
What fun we had at the annual Monroe Apple Festival! We played games, listened to music, jumped in the moon bounce and had some snacks. I got a little excited (and confused) at the "duck pond" game and jumped into the little swimming pool, thank goodness I had my new rain boots on.:) My favorite part of the day was probably the caramel/chocolate covered apples, YUMMY!!!!!! As you can see from one of Mommy's pictures, the leaves are beginning to change. Fall is just around the corner.

A new place to play...
Me and Mommy spent a rainy day at a very cool place, Elephant Steps in Norwalk. I absolutely love to play in/around water so this was soooo much fun for me. Mommy said we will certainly be back as Fall is coming and the swimming pool will be put away until next Summer. So glad to know there are other ways to play in the water.:) I also had alot of fun in the jungle gym area, some of the bigger kids helped me get all the way to the top.

tomorrow is a new day.........................
Well, not off to the best start but we are going to hope tomorrow is a little better. I was "dropped off" at the playground gate and never looked back, mommy thought this was a promising beginning. Apparently Mommy was to stay on site, chat with other moms and peek through the windows if she wanted to. All was good until I escaped the classroom and happened upon the "parents area" which is where I saw Mommy. Everything was downhill from there and I just could not recover. My only request (for 25 minutes straight) was "mommy inside" and nobody was making it happen. Today was part of the "phase-in" and was only 9:30-11, I actually was given the okay to leave around 10:35. Mommy is worried I just know it but I will be okay.
Big day today...

Happy Labor Day
We celebrated a little early with a fun BBQ at the Lisanti's house yesterday. Me and Portia played in the sandbox, painted rocks, each other and the sidewalk with outdoor paint, as well as had a little dinner. Here we are playing "Ring around the rosie".

More Summer fun...
Not much "Summer" left here in CT but I am trying to make the most of it. We had a big time at the beach and Mommy's idea of icecream afterwards was super cool.:)

More fun w/ Gigi & Poppy...

Happy Birthday Hayley!
What a fun way to spend a day. Hayley's Mommy put on a birthday luau in her honor and everyone had a great time. I am so excited Gigi & Poppy were able to meet all my friends and their Moms too. Gigi & Poppy showed off their natural skills entertaining the toddlers and rocking the new babies.

A very special girl turns 2!!!
Monday we gathered in honor of my special friend Charlotte, she is 2 now too.:) Her Mommy & Daddy put together a fantastic party at the beach and we all had a great time. I myself enjoyed the birthday girl's company all to myself at the water's edge for a while, we always have so much fun jumping and splashing. Happy Birthday "Char-Char", XOXO Chandler!!
Special delivery...
On a "blue" note I wanted to mention a special delivery, Mia's Mommy had a baby boy, Jonah Max. How lucky are my 2 favorite girls?... Charlotte shares a birthday with Baby Jonah and Mia is a big Sister. Congratulations to the Bomback Family! No worries, my "Mommy Paparazzi" has a couple photos as she visited the hospital yesterday.:)

My 2nd haircut...
BEFORE SHOT!!!!
Well, Mommy is posting this as it is part of our week but I must say it has taken her a few days to "get over it". This is how it went down, Mommy gave specific instructions that she wanted my hair "shaped up" but did not want to lose the length or curls. She was very "to the point" with the hairdresser and that combined with the fact that I was sitting quiet and very still is what infuriated Mommy with the end result. You guessed it, all my curls are gone and as Mommy put it I have a "big boy" haircut. Needless to say we will not be returning to Snip-Its for Kids. She has settled down and does think it is a cute cut and continues to tell me how cute I look but the fact that the lady had a cooperative 2 year old and did not listen to Mommy did her in.:)

25 months old today!

Another friend turns 2...
We were all excited to gather in Aidan's honor as he is turning 2 along with the rest of us. We had a bit of excitement in the beginning when the balloons escaped high in the sky lights but thanks to Charlotte's Mommy and a handy contraption she retrieved the balloons. We had a great time playing, snacking and chatting but when it was time for cake I was certainly ready.:) Happy Birthday Aidan!!!

Mommy & me found ourselves with nothing to do one afternoon so what better idea than to go to the beach.
Sunday, August 9, 2009
Olivia turns 2....
"Oink, bah, neigh, moo--Olivia Mae turned 2". My Mommy did not come up with such a clever jingle but Olivia's Mommy did for her invitation. If you have not guessed yet, her party was at a local farm. We were up close and personal with animals and most of the kiddos enjoyed a wagon ride. I say most b/c due to my less than patient nature I wanted back off the wagon to run around before the horses were ready to go. I still had such a good time and loved the sheep & horses. Happy birthday O!!!

Happy Birthday Mia!!!
Check out what a cool party Mia had in honor of turning 2. Mia's Mommy & Daddy arranged for a musician to play music and at the end of the show she made balloon animals, sooo fun!

A visit from Didi & Grandaddy...
I have been very busy this past week. Didi & GRandaddy were here and we had so much fun! We enjoyed a "choo-choo" ride on the Essex Steam Train and followed that up with a ride on a big boat along the Connecticut River, made appearances at some birthday parties and played in my swimming pool. I love having them here to read me stories and watch Curious George over and over.:):) Unfortunately they headed back to TN this morning, I miss them already!!

Lake Mohegan
Mommy has hooked us up for the summer! This place has a playground, really big sprinkler system, lots of sand to dig in, and a huge lake to play in. Today me and Portia (and mommys too) had a great time. I can't wait to take Daddy, he will love it.

2 year old update...
for those interested, I had my 24 month appointment w/ Dr. Lori Friday and all is great. I weighed in at 28 lbs-8.5 oz and I am 35 1/2 inches tall. I passed my developmental quizes with no problem, thank goodness Dr. Lori had on a "GAREEEN" shirt.:) Those that know me, know I call everything green first. I did run into a problem, the nurse came in yet once again with needles! I was not even phased by the fingerstick but the shots in the leg simply made me MAD. Oh well, I recovered quickly and all was good in about 45 seconds.

I had such a great time today with all my friends. Charlotte, Mia, Portia, Alex, Owen, Olivia, Ella, Aidan, Emma and Scarlett all came over today to party. Happy 4th of July!!!!
We have had alot of fun with the holiday festivities! Last night we enjoyed a great fireworks show where I narrated the entire time with "BOOM" and "POW, POW". I got to stay up extra late but was not about to sleep in this morning, oh no, I was ready to play. Today we played in my new pool, ran through the sprinkler, had some BBQ ribs and hotdogs. Okay, so I really had tater tots, fish sticks and LOTS of watermelon but whatever. :) I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

A stroll around Yale campus...
Me and Mommy have struggled to find things to do lately on days with no playdates etc... The weather is lousy in CT and if the sun shows up you better look quickly because it is gone in a few hours. Anyway, we took in a change of scenery and strolled around Yale, what a beautiful place to hang.

"Stratford Day" 2009 (check me out riding solo in the videos at the bottom)
Check out how much fun we had right here in town. We had lots of snacks, had so many balloons I could not even carry them all and I rode rides all by myself. Needless to say, a good time was certainly had!

A really Great playdate!
It is so great to have friends in high places...that being said, Charlotte & her Mommy hosted the group for some fun at their private beach! I had a chance to catch up w/Scarlett & Aidan, as well as meet a couple new bundles of joy, Emma & Rocky. Me, Mia, Hayley & Charlotte had a great time as usual playing in the water and digging in the sand. You will also notice a couple pics of me helping out with pushing strollers and wagons, Mommy often calls me a "good helper".

Nothin' better than live music & good friends...
I do love music, especially when a guitar is being played and good friends are all around me. I danced my hiney off and still had time to be the hugging/kissing bandit. :)

A follow up to Father's Day...
The best part of the day was simply spending it with Daddy! We played at the beach, enjoyed a great dinner and finished up some repairs on the screen porch. A busy "Daddy & Me" day but what fun we had!

I am wishing every Daddy a very special day today but I certainly want to let my Daddy know that he is the best!!! Me and Mommy chose a few special pics of us together in the last 2 years, along with the video of me "helping" you.

A trip to Sesame Place....
Daddy, Mommy and Me just spent 2 days on Sesame Street. I spent time with Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, Bert & Ernie, Cookie Monster, Big Bird , Abby-Cadabby and Zoe. We enjoyed the 'rock around the block' parade, Elmo's world live, Big Bird's Beach Party(which included an appearance by my Daddy) and the greatest event of all was lunch with all the characters. As you will see in the pics, Ernie and Zoe sat down at my table. Rosita was a great singer and the Count counted alot. :)
I loved riding all the rides both wet and dry. The next post will be some video including "Daddy Live". Sesame Place is somewhere I recommend to all my friends and certainly hope to visit again one day. I have not stopped talking about all the fun with meeting Elmo but by far, "TOOKIE" monster made the biggest impression.
