Happy 1st Birthday Mia!!

Yesterday we all joined together in a 1st birthday celebration for my very special friend Mia. We played outside with Lue (the entertainer), he brought a parachute which is one of my most favorite things. It is official, all my friends are now 1.

A day at the zoo

Mommy, me, Charlotte and her mommy all had a fun time at The Beardsley Zoo today. I was most excited about the special bird show. We got to see birds of prey, birds that talk and sing and birds with many colors. We stopped in for a bite to eat at the Peacock Cafe, check out the great picture of a real peacock. I had such a great time, Charlotte and I enjoyed the tigers, lynx, bears and bison alike. Another fun moment was the ride on the carousel!

No real need for explanation here, but Mommy would love to explain the last picture. She found it very funny that I simply closed the door to my mess and made an attempt to sneak away.

Happy 1st Birthday Hayley!

Today was a fun day, we celebrated my friend Hayley turning 1. We all gathered at Rocky Point Club for fun in the sun, lunch and cake. :)

Happy 1st Birthday to a very special little lady

My very close friend, Charlotte, turned 1 today and we were lucky enough to share in her celebrations. Her Mommy & Daddy had a big beach bash in her honor and it was a blast. All the kiddies got a pail and shovel with their name on it, SO COOL!! Notice the cutie in the hot pink dress, she is the birthday girl with the awesome sandcastle cake. These parties are alot for us little ones, Charlotte had the right idea in the last pic.

Happy 1st birthday to my friends Kate and Aidan. Mommy combined their party pics; on Tuesday we had such a great time celebrating with Kate and on Friday we partied in Aidan's honor. It is so much fun going to all these parties but what happens after everybody is already 1????
ps, I apologize for no smiles at Kate's party but this was the morning my molar made an appearance.

13 months old today

A short up date for this month:
11 teeth, Daddy says I am ready for a filet
I have taken two steps on two seperate occasions. Mommy thinks because I crawl 100mph I am finding it unecessary to get up on my feet.
I am no longer drinking formula. I still take a bottle (only 3 a day) but it is all whole milk. I am working towards the elimination of a bottle so check back at 14 months.
My favorite foods are still asparagus, broccoli and any fruits excluding citrus
I have added a few new words to my vocabulary, these include: down(which I certainly use appropiately), "nana" for banana, and "uh-uh" for uh-oh. I love to use the "uh-uh" when I fall down or fake falling down. I also say something close to "all done" when I am, well, DONE.

Well, I am unrolling toilet paper now so Mommy is "all done" with this post. :) These pictues are my first "happy meal", I ate 1 1/2 chicken nuggets, french fries and drank milk. The other picture is me standing and balancing the toy on wheels. I actually just stood up without anything to pull up on, maybe next time Mommy can get it on video.

New teeth and my 1st 2 steps

These are pics of me playing in my new water/sand table. Daddy has yet to get me some sand but I am having a great time with the water. I have cut teeth 10 and 11 in the last 2 days, one of which is a molar on the bottom right, man does it hurt. I took my 1st 2 steps tonight, Mommy and Daddy are so excited they were both home to witness the big event. I have also mastered the understanding of "yes" and "no", check out the videos.

Daddy and Me time

We had a fun time this weekend. Saturday Mommy was very busy with many errands and having lunch with a girlfriend (Daddy says that translates into shopping, but I am not saying a word). Anyway, after gym class Daddy took me to the aquarium and it was so cool. Check out the ALBINO ALLIGATOR on display, there are only 44 of these dudes in the world.

Daddy really liked the big lobsters and continued speaking about drawn butter. Does anyone know anything about that?

What a ride! My 1st amusement park

This week Daddy's work had a summer "get together" at Rye Playland. As you will see I am a fan of the amusement park outings. I certainly enjoyed the sticky, puffy stuff but it is really tricky to get it off your fingers.

FAREWELL TO MY MOST FAVORITE TOY EVER!!

Well, all good things must come to and end it seems. As if Mommy is not busy enough, this morning she ignored the phone ringing but could not ignore the knock at the door that followed. That's right, the Stratford POPO showed up inquiring about a 911 call from our house. I was sleeping by this time, therefore, not involved right? :) Oh no, the dude gave me away by letting Mommy know they could certainly here a baby singing. I do not recall the tune at the moment but thank goodness ALL 4 policemen were somewhat amused at Mommy's confusion. They left on a nice note and all is good.

Mommy tells me Jack's Mommy & Daddy will be amused as well.

A few more vacation pics

I was loving my float, Daddy was jealous. Check out Mommy and me dancing on the beach, I feel certain the onlookers were amused. I am really looking forward to this vacation thing again. :)

A trip to Nantucket too...

As if Cape Cod were not enough, we took the Ferry to Nantucket too. Mommy and Daddy were amazed not with the island but with the fact that I fell asleep in a stroller for the 1st time since I was 2 weeks old. Also included in these photos is our LOBSTER DINNER, I must admit I was intrigued.

Vacation '08 (part 1)

Wow, what a great time I had in Cape Cod. I loved the ocean, the taste of sand and all the attention I received over the last 10 days. Me, Mommy, Daddy, GiGi, Poppy, Auntie Bevie, Uncie Dave, Luey and KoKo had such a great time swimming, playing, shopping, cooking and eating. This vacation thing is a blast!! Mommy will have to share the pictures/events in parts so bear with her, but here is part 1.
