Christmas in TN continued

So as you can see, I met so many wonderful people. On Saturday, the 22nd, everyone gathered together for my baby shower. As I understand it, the baby does not usually attend, but I had a big time. I also visited with my DiDi and Grandaddy again, boy have I missed them. I was very pleased to finally meet my aunts and uncles, Carrie, Joey, Laura and Joseph. You will also see my cousins in these pics, Bailey, Jordan and Cara. We had a really fun night out with Mommy and Daddy's good friends, Matt and Rachel, I think they miss them too. One last note, I am not trying to "name drop", but did anyone notice the celebrity in the photos? That is correct, my 3rd cousin is Leslie Jordan and he lives in a place called Hollywood. Not that I have watched the shows "Will & Grace" or "Boston Legal", but these are just 2 of Mommy and Daddy's favorites he has had roles in. Cool huh!! Check back for more from my TN adventures.

Christmas in Tennessee

So sorry for the lapse in updating but I have been a very busy boy. I have had an amazing first Christmas and hope everybody else did as well. Mommy, Daddy, Luey, KoKo and I traveled(by car) for 2 days to get to TN and it was worth it. I had the pleasure of spending time with so many special people. I am planning to post several days in a row so not to overwhelm anyone with the ongoings. This first set of pics include alot of very special people I had the pleasure of meeting during my visit. I dined with the Sherlin's, Choate's and Lizarraga's while visiting TN, what fun we had. Those who follow me will recognize Poppy and GiGi, unfortunately Mommy did not remember the camera for the Lizarraga family. I was so excited to meet my beautiful cousin, Bailey, she loved me to death. :):) Look for another posting tomorrow, I have so much more to share from my big adventures in TN.

5 months old (on the 15th)

I would like to share with everyone a few things I am up to.

*I recognize when someone says my name

*I make it very clear(by lifting my arms and squealing) when I want to be picked up or if I see something I want.

*I will touch, hold, turn, shake and mouth anything you give me.

*As you can see from the pics, I am very flexible and love my feet. I can roll, twist and rock all while holding my feet to my mouth.

*I can sit momentarily without support, but I am working on this daily.

*I can do an impressive situp from a slight incline. Working on my abs of steel-BABY!

*I have already bragged on my 2 bottom teeth, but they are really "coming up".

*I love to hear my own voice and the louder the better. I scream, squeal, laugh and jabber constantly. Between you and me, Daddy says Mommy likes to hear herself talk too. :)

*One more thing, I love to stand. I obviously cannot do this independently but I am more interested in this than rolling around on the ground. My leg muscles are impressive too.

Continuing to feel better

OUT OF COMMISSION

So sorry I have been a slacker but for the first time(in my nearly 5 months of life) I have not felt well this week. Mommy and I have been to the doctor 4 times in just 3 days. I am feeling better now and trying to stay in the Christmas spirit, after all, I am headed to TN in just a few days.

What a busy week

Well, all I can say is I am looking forward to my upcoming road trip in a couple of weeks. All of these very special people come to Connecticut but after a short time we are heading back to the airport so they can return to this "TENNESSEE". Check out the cool Christmas lights we went to see, man was it cold outside. I was sad to see Beverly go but I get to see her again in a couple of weeks. YEAH!!! :):) Oh, I almost forgot, another tooth has surfaced. Mommy is very excited about my 2 front(bottom) teeth showing up.

"CUTTING" NEWS

Mommy is very excited to share the latest, I have cut my first tooth. Notice all I really want to do is chew on things(really everything, especially my own toes):-)

Beverly is here to see me!

So many things to be excited about! I am meeting my "Aunt" Bevie for the first time and she is loving on me lots. Check out these awesome shoes she brought me, too cool. I am not sure if you can see the snow falling in the picture Mommy took outside but it is pretty neat to watch.

"Helping" Mommy

Today we are spending the day wrapping Christmas gifts and decorating the house. This is my first time involved in the festivities but I am trying to do what I can. Is anyone else confused on the tradition of a tree in the house?

EXCITING NEWS

I am so excited to say cogratulations to my Aunt Carrie, Uncle Joey and Cousin (and Big Sister) Jordan. Cara Renee was born this morning and everyone is doing great. I am really looking forward to seeing everybody at Christmas.

Sad to see Nana go

What a busy time of year this seems to be. We have been running around nonstop, but I was so lucky to hang out with Nana. It was sad to take her back to the airport, but I was reminded we will see her in a few weeks when we go to TN for Christmas.:) Check out my cool hat she made me.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We hope everyone had a fantastic day filled with lots of food and fun times. Mommy cooked for 2 days and we had the pleasure of hosting the big event for family and friends. I also want to mention my Nana is here from TN and we celebrated her birthday too.

My new toy

I went to the doctor today for my 4 month appointment. All was well until the needles came out, Mommy was proud of me for recovering quickly. I am really growing, I now weigh 15pounds and 4ounces and I am 25 3/4" long.

4 MONTHS OLD TODAY

Getting ready for "Turkey Day"

Mommy and Daddy are very busy getting ready to host Thanksgiving dinner. I am happy to report my only part at this point seems to be wearing the outfits in honor of the big day and playing independantly for short periods. Speaking of playing, Mommy and I started a gym class at Gymboree today and it was big fun.

Okay, so maybe I did not cast a vote but Mommy said I was the cutest one in the room. In my personal opinion they should serve snacks to the voters, that way I would not have had to eat my hand. :)

We have had a pretty uneventful weekend for the most part. Mommy is very excited about all the Christmas shopping she finished this weekend and Daddy mentioned being excited the credit card did not burst into flames. I am not sure about all of that but as you can see I enjoyed my first encounter with a lobster. :)

We had a big time this weekend at Silvermans Farm in Easton Connecticut. We picked the perfect pumpkin(I like to think I had a part in the final choice), unfortunately Daddy was not able to guess the weight, therefore we had to pay for it.

I am not really trying to make a statement with this look, it just kinda happened while sleeping. I did overhear Mommy telling Daddy it was very fitting for me to want to hide my face after the fit I threw at Panera Bread. My thoughts on the comments are --HAHAHA, it will most likely not be the last public meltdown. :):)
