Graduation ceremony

Well, the 1st year of school has officially come to an end and today I walked across the bridge to symbolize me entering my next journey. I was very into wearing the gown as I creatively called it my "batman cape" but the hat well, not so much.:) Mommy & Daddy were very proud of my cooperation and listening skills throughout the ceremony.

Last day of school....

Wow, can you believe I have completed my 1st year of school.?.? I have had a lot of fun in my 2's program. I have learned many new things and Mommy thinks I have grown in so many ways. Here are a few comparison photos from my 1st and last day at New England School of Montessori(2's program). I do look forward to seeing everyone at graduation Friday...Mommy is so excited to see me in my cap and gown.

Memorial Day weekend was a blast!!!

We certainly had a busy weekend but man was it super fun! I got a new swimming pool and it is full of activities...it has a sprinkler, rings, balls and notice it is a double-decker pool. I have been having some napping issues since the transition to my race-car bed occurred so I was pretty much in my pool or "helping" Daddy for 2 days straight. Another thing going on at my house is Daddy is building a shed. Mommy calls it "Chandler's house of toys"! We will show you an update soon as "we" only have until mid June to finish up the shed...the painters are coming. Mommy did help Daddy a bit but mostly she was glad to sit poolside.:)

A trip into the city

We had a super fun day in the city with friends. Our first stop was the American Museum of Natural History. I LOVED the dinosaurs!!! I was actually content to stay on the dinosaur wing and just do circles but loved the big blue whale room too. We later went into Central Park for some running and climbing. We were happy to see our friends Yves (in from Texas), Jerome and Ann-Marine...Yves even brought me an early birthday surprise.

A fun day at the beach with Mommy

We had a really warm day on Wednesday so me and Mommy decided to escape to a cooler place. You just can't beat a place with lots of rocks(and it is acceptable to throw them too), water, a cool breeze and a place to dig with my super-size shovel. I am so glad we live so close to many beaches and look forward to spending plenty of time there over the next few months.

Movin' on to the toddler bed.....

Sooooooooo, I am growing up.:) I have been in big boy underwear accident free since February 9th and I even nap in big boy underwear(since May 1st). A couple of times in the past few weeks I have called out around 3AM to Mommy in need of "peepee potty" so the decision was made to transition to the "big boy" bed this weekend. I was so excited to have the choice be mine for which bed to take home...Lightin' McQueen was the instant choice(even over Thomas). Look how cool it is!! It is bedtime right now and I have stripped the bed and have my rain boots on but have not left my room(unlike nap-time today). Mommy & Daddy's fingers are crossed but I am pretty tired due to no nap today.
